Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Relocating to Seattle, WA....Emissions

Hello all, I'm currently in the process of relocating to the Seattle, WA area to live. I have family up there and I believe when out-of-state vehicles are licensed in WA, they have to go through an emissions test. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this process up there and how strict it is. My main concern is my lack of cat converter, I can pull the EZ out for the test, so that isn't a big deal, but just curious about the whole deal. Thanks

with just an ez you will pass with flying colors. Thge test is only a opicity check.



Go to the test station in Renton, WA just south of Seattle



Diesel's are only tested 5 years and older.
