Anyone see the Duraflat Cop car chase in GA Today??

Anyone familiar with the remington 870 express magnum? I have one and was thinking of selling it in hopes of getting a browning or a benelli. It has the black dull acidized (spelling error) 28 inch barrel, has black plastic stock, i also have the original wood for it. it has the removable chokes. what would a gun like this be worth? It is in really good shape only used it for turkey season two years. Well let me knoe yout thoughts.
thanks
Adam

You gotta love it, where else can you discuss two great subjects, diesels and firearms. I would try to get at least two bills for that gauge. The Remington 870 SG is an outstanding weapon, and should be no problem finding a new home for same. Benelli you say... I saw one in action a few years ago at a Firearms instructor course (Police model with the 13" barrel). AWESOME speed from a SG.

You should be able to sell that for $200-225. They are great guns, I would keep it. The extra 2 bills you are going to get selling it are really less than what it its worth to have a shotgun that works everytime on time, MHO. I have a pair of them, and a spare! I have shot every semi-automatic shotgun out there and I like the Winchester Super X2 the best. I am going to buy another X2 soon. Try all of the different guns you can, you might find that one works very well for you while others don't. The "best" shotgun for you may be something you have not considered.
edit: I have had a Browning Gold 3. 5" too, was too pretty to camo or I would still have it, was a really nice gun. If you hunt waterfowl get a 3. 5" gun, it really does work better when you can have plenty of big pellets to fill a pattern. A 3" gun won't do that with steel shot nearly as well.

BigYellowIron, go with the Benelli... I've been extremely satisfied with mine for many years... and I'm not talkin' 'bout the bird huntin' models! #ad
