I read on another post about guys using the BD 4" Remote mount exhaust brake. I am waiting on my 4" downpipe and eventually plan to go with an hx-40, so as I understand I will either have to use this brake or go with the US Gear 4" brake. I would prefer the BD as I had a US Gear on my 93 and would like to try something different. The problem is - I couldn't find any info on this thing on BD's website. What is it? Does it still mount on the turbo, or is it like the US Gear and mount in the exhaust? Is it wastegated like the US Gear or is it not and do I still have to get the 60lb. exhaust valve springs? If some would could email a price on the BD remote mount that would be great too. Thanks guys,

Burkey

I've sent you info that you can use. Mine's fantastic. I can't say enough of good things about it. Works great with the trailer too. One word... BD is the best brake I have installed and driven. The others can't compare.

Well put. I have installed lots of the 4" remote mount setups, and they are awesome. Just make sure every exhaust connection upstream of the brake is good. :D
