I have a 2004 dodge ram 2500 with a remote start and in the morning i push the button to start and the truck start's and run's for about 30 seconds and the shut's off and then about a min. latter it start's the truck second time and then about 30 later it shut's off, and then about a min. later it start's the truck for the third time and it run's for about 30 to 40 second's and then it shut's down. the place that i had work on the truck and get it working again and they say'd that it was hooked
to the tack and the hooked it up to sense the voltage jump that should happen after the truck has started and run for about 10 second's but the voltage jump does not happen for about 3 to 5 min. s
I found out that from looking on this web forme, that the computer limits the voltage to help the motor the worm up and settle down and smooth out.
is the a different place to hook it up and get to say running? as i say'd above it was hooked to the tack and it was trying to start the truck wyle the motor is running, so that is why they set it up to sense the voltage jump
