When I worked for Best Buy as an installer, we never put remote starts on sticks b/c of the liability of the vehicle being in gear at the time the remote start cranks over.
Plus, you need to have the clutch in before the truck will crank. So how will the remote start crank w/o someone having their foot on the clutch?
Off the record (ha,ha) :-laf , I installed a remote start on my '95 Jeep Wrangler that was a five speed. I bypassed the "clutch switch" which caused the engine to crank with out the clutch being depressed and just made sure I always had the Jeep in neutral.
I think for liability reasons, not alot of install shops will put one on for ya. You'll have to do it yourself.
BTW... don't forget to hook up the wait to start light to a relay so the truck won't crank prematurely. Hope this helps.
