Archived Removal of steering stabilizer

I have a 1997 2500 4x4 and am having trouble removing the steering stabilizer. Please help in a hurry. Is the bushing pressed into the track bar or just realy tight.

I haven't done this one so I can't answer but, try a search. I recall this coming up a few times in the past. If my memory is correct (DO THE SEARCH!!), it is pressed onto the tie rod that goes from one spindle to the other.

One end is always a bear. Use a Pitman arm puller, reef down on it and hit the puller bolt with a hand sledge.

If you have an air hammer and are replacing it hit the bolt with the air hammer.
