Remove console/center seat

Hello everyone! I tried searching for this and didn't find anything.... I'm wondering if the console/center seat can be removed from the '98-02 interior, leaving the driver & passenger seats in place with open space between them. Thanks for any help!

The answer is yes. I took mine out of my 1999 before left hip surgery so I could have more room to maneuver and get in and out etc. 4 bolts as I recall

The pictured brackets on the left side of the drivers seat pedestal hold up that side of the center console. The passengers side I believe has the same brackets. They are riveted onto the pedestals.

Yes my memory is same as the third gen jump seat... just pull the 4 bolts and it comes out, there will be the extension brackets from the seat frames remaining tho.
