i dont know the part number off hand. Somebody else here has mentioned it, but Autometer has a faster responding Thermocouple that is recomended. As far as size, 1/4" is a little easier to install (bigger holes are easier to tap).
 
I used grease on my drill bit and tap and when I was done I vacuumed the exhaust manifold out with a small attachment that came with my vacuum cleaner. Whatever else you do, take your time. When tapping, back out after a few turns, wipe the fillings off and re-grease. It's a bit tedious, but you will eliminate most of the bits of metal. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks for your explanation. I am going to install another probe Pre Turbo with a DTDP
switch and I'll pst the temps I get.

Anyone know the advantages of using 1/8" or 1/4" thermocouple? Looks like the Autometer EGT gauge will come with 1/8" thermocouple.

I plan to mount it pre-turbo.
