removing calliper bolt

If You Lower The 05 3500 4x4 How Do You Get The Top Calliper Bolt Out Enought To Change The Break Pads. The Leaf Springs Are In The Way.

Someone must have lowered the back by moving the bottom blocks to the top. Someone posted that you can do it, I don't remember how, maybe search on lowering back. I think you can work them out after they get loose, not sure though. Good luck.

Sorry, didn't read the first part of your message. Do a search on removing the blocks, there is a lot of info and pictures.

You can't pull that bolt all the way out. . BUT you don't need to because there is enough room to get it all the way backed out of the hole it is threaded into, then you just pull the caliper straight back with the bolt in the caliper.



I tested it myself on mine.
