I'm not sure if this question belongs here or under accessories but since my question has to do with an original part of the truck I'll put it here.
I bought a really cool cell phone holder from Mopar4less and the directions say to remove the instrument panel cluster bezel, the directions also make mention of a
"trim stick"
Can anybody describe this stick to me?
Can I make my own? Once I have it how do I go about removing the bezel? Is this something I can do without having to worry about doing damage?
Thanks in advance for Your help! #ad

Sam,

When I took mine off a couple of weeks ago I used a 1 1/2" puddy knife. Just slip it between the bazel and the dash and it will start to pop off.

On my 2001 you just pull the bezel off, no screws. Very nice dash setup imo. Love it when It comes apart easily #ad

I haven't taken my dash apart yet, but here is a tip that might help. When I remove trim panels, I like to take a little peek under the panel and see if I can identify what kind of plastic clips they use. Then I buy a hand full at the local auto parts house. I always seem to break a couple, and others look a little weary, so I just replace them. It makes for a nice re-installation. But most of all NO RATTLES> The dash may not have these clips but keep it in mind for other interior trim.
