I'm probably going to be buying a 2500 CTD Mega Cab soon, and I was wondering how difficult it is to remove the front center cupholder console in case you want to have a passenger in the front center seat.

Dodge's web site shows a passenger sitting in that spot, but I can't imagine doing it with the console on the floor.

I just got mine and have not spent any time trying to pull it off, but i was wondering the same thing.

It dosent look like it is supposed to be removed.

You have to remove some screws to get it out. The rear a/c runs under it; it doesn't look good with the cover removed. You don't gain a lot of room either. The third seat in the front is definately for short trips or flexible people only!

OK, that's what I thought. I didn't pull the trigger tonight. I just wasn't happy with the dealership, although it appears there really is no wiggle room with the employee discounts. I just didn't like their $279 processing fee when a closer dealership charges $75. I did like the truck they have, though.
