Removing political threads from new posts

I seem to remember before the website upgrade we could shut off the political threads whenever the new posts button was clicked. Is there a way to do that again? I'm here for the tech stuff, not the politics.

I've added a plugin which now allows you to ignore/un-ignore a forum. Go into any forum section and on the top/right you'll see the Ignore Forum link.

If it only worked.
Went to Political, clicked the ignore button. Banner comes up telling me I'm ignoring this forum.Go to Ignored forums and there isn't anything shown as ignored.
Click on new posts and the No Collusion thread is still there.
Suggestions...

Try clearing your browser cache and then quitting and restarting your browser, then go to new posts and see what happens.

It should not be this complicated. Just click it and it should be gone like before.

Give it a try now, the pop up when you selected to ignore it was not displaying all the options. It is now. Click the ignore forum link in Politics and it will give you a list of options of where to ignore it (forum list, new posts, news feed, etc).

This works, I just did it, must have been right after Addmin. done the fix.
