Removing stock chrome grille/hood deflector

I want to remove the hood protector/deflector that came on the truck and I can't seem to get it off. There are 4 phillips head screws that attach it to the grille but all they do is spin when I back them out. There are no nuts on the other side, so are they those plastic type screws that can be just pulled out? Any help is appreciated.

When you are turning the screws, try pressing down on the deflector. That may help create some tension for the screws to catch.

They push in and spread the outer piece, take a sharp object and pry up the phony screw then pop the whole thing out.

Joe, pinch the back side of the scrivit then it will unscrew
