What did you guys do with the two left over water outlets (5/8") when you removed it? Looks like there is no hex on the one on top so you can remove it. It IS threaded but not much to get ahold of. I can't tell about the bottom, maybe part of that whole housing?? Thanks for your help!!

on my '94 i used rubber caps(from napa) for the lower and upper ports (pic 1)

on my '01 i removed the upper fitting with an allen wrench and installed a pipe plug. 94 fitting can be removed the same way. (pic 2)

the lower connection/fitting is one piece(ports are not removable).

on my '01 i bought a new single port fitting from a hydraulic hose shop

(left fitting in pic 3). i thought oem fitting was threaded,,twisted the port off with pliers(right oem fitting pic 3)

94 lower fitting is the same.

easy way- get the 2 rubber caps like i did on my '94 and hope the rubber doesn't spring a leak someday

right way-replace the fittings like i did on my '01

seems the '01 always gets the best of everything. the one that gets used the least  :-laf

I plugged the one by the waterpump and replaced the "T" with an elbow. There was no allen head or hex on the one by the wp so I just used vice-grips.
