My grommet is leaking. I siphon the coolant level down a bit-took the top hose off and I know about depressing the Big Button in the back of the tank but it still will not budge. HELP 1999 2500

Your confusing me a bit....your title says windshield washer tank but then you say coolant? And on the windshield washer tank there is only one hose at the bottom, plus the plug for the pump and the low fluid plug just above that.....
If you indeed are working on the windshield washer reservoir, there should be a small bolt towards the bottom. Follow the neck down with your hand and it should be 3/4 of the way down, either an 8 or 10 mm socket.

Take a big no 2 screwdriver and pry out and pull up on the tank at the same time. You'll see that there is a plastic piece sticking out into the housing holding it up. I replaced mine since it had a crack in it . Got it from rock auto for around $25

Well I got it out. There is a screw tab 3/4 down on the tank but no hole or bolt. But in the $100 manual there is a picture of TWO BIG 1 inch BUTTONS behind the tank .Not just the ONE- Depress both and pull out duh Im stupid.Well always read the book after all else fails and thanks to all for the help.Maybe this post will help the next guy. Thanks a ton
