Does anyone know if it's possible to rent a Dodge Cummins pickup truck in Southern California? I've just spent several days driving my dad's Duramax and would like to evaluate a Dodge Cummins for an extended amount of time before I take the plunge. I know what some of you are going to say, but it's a lot of dough and it doesn't hurt to be certain.

Go to a dealer and see if they would let you take a truck for the weekend. Not sure if they do this with a CTD. . But i know my father took a hummer h2 for a weekend and tested it out

If you're serious about buying they'll often let you take one for a day or two. The quote I got was "to let you see how it looks in your driveway". What do I care, it's got a Cummins! :D

I just rented a car from Enterprise while my Ford was in the shop. Sure wish they had had a Dodge Cummins. That would've been awesome.

Rented a car in Salt Lake City last year and they had some CTD trucks to rent. I didn't rent them, I got the Rodeo for half the price. ;) It was a off road rentel place all he rented was trucks

If you can test drive one try and do it with the truck you actually want. That way you an evaluate the truck as an individual and not a sample that may not drive like another truck.
