Is a CB radio still a viable tool for the road?

Hopefully this is the right forum. A friend of mine is lending her truck to someone that rents a stall at her barn and was wondering what a going rate may be for something like this. They'll be using the truck to go aproximately 600 miles round trip pulling a 2 hourse tag.

Any ideas?

Paid rental is touchy area with insurance and such. Check that stuff out first. I have had to rent trucks when mine was down for a couple of wrecks. Lastest rental price is one week 1000 miles for 699. 79

Yeah, I let her know that. I looked into it awhile back because I let my brother-in-law use my truck for about 6 months when he was having some financial troubles (a little Nissan I used to use for commuting, not my Dodge). Anyway, I asked my insurance agent what my liablity is and he said as a private party I am ultimately responsible and can be sued regardless of what other coverage the party borrowing/renting my truck has... thanks for the reply... I have a ball park now. Does anyone else have any other rates that they get in their area for comparison? I live in Phoenix BTW.
