I have had the seal for some time now. The seal had started leaking quite bad this past weekend ( lost 2 qts. towing 4500 lbs home from NY only 279 miles) When I got the thing apart it was the new type with the sleeve pressed in. I separated the pump used a 13/16" socket with a c-clamp and pressed against the coupler with the cross in it the sleeve came right out so I replaced the seal and pressed it back together took it for a 45 mile test drive still dry.
