Fuel delivery issues?..

the truck is a 2005 dodgeram 2500 4 door long bed. the truck is COMPLETELY STOCKED. it has 233,000 miles we replaced the fuel injectors and the fuel tubes. brand new bosch injectors. before we changed the injector the truck was getting 24-26 mpg on the highway rolling 70. the lie o meter was correct and i calculated it myself. its been 2 months now since i have had the new injectors in and can not get the mpg over 16mpg.

Yes. I verified them. The truck would not start up in it own. Once it was running the truck ran fine. As soon as you would turn it off it wouldn't start back up.

Should have bought bbi.Never had any problems with them and you almost spent the same money for less power. The .5s are clean enough to pass the California smog test

24-26 mpg at 70 mph, maybe on a standard cab 2x4 at 55 mph, 4x4 if you drive downhill with a tail wind all the time. 16 mpg at 70 mph, normal for this time of the year and a 4x4 truck.
Whether it was tire size, calculator batteries low, programming, or something really messed up in the injector, SOMETHING changed. 24-26 mpg at 70 mph, even on a 2x4, QC LB is so far from the norm it is hardly believable.

Unless The OP discloses More info I'm out.

When I had the cracked injector nozzle my truck MPG display would show 35-48 MPG all the time. Real world MPG was 17-18. After I did a set of Dynomite Diesel Stage 1 new injectors and nozzles The display was back to normal with in 1-2 MPG of what I would calculate by hand. Best that truck could ever reach was driving at 45 Mph non stop only then would it break 20-24 Mpg. Wind resistance kills the MPG on our trucks. And soft tires. I gave a set of PRO COMP's a try they were nice and quiet only lasted 28K miles but killed my Mpg's

No expert here, but my 04.5 at 70 mph was around 18-20 on the lie-O-meter, depending on weather, and 22-24 at 55mph.

My 03 is somewhat of a mpg king. My meter at the end of a tank is in the 4 range. Always starts at the 30 range, but drops the whole tank slowly.

I am doing injectors now 245K for the same reason as you. Hoping the mpg does not go away. Its the reason I have kept this truck.
