I got a new cylinder from PacBrake. They let me have it for

$110. It had been on the truck for three years so they come down $13. which is good,Ican't complain.

The paper that come with it,said to take the brake off the truck.

But I didn't.

It was a little hard to get to,but I finley got it.

You have to set the stroke the same as the old cylinder to get it to close a full 90 deg. I measured the old one fully extended to the center of the clevis pin,and set the new one the same.

It sounds like it is closing right. It might have been better to take it off the truck.

Anyway the throttle switch don't work now. Iwill have to check it out tomorow, it got dark.

yep I did mine Thursday evening, did the same as you. Hardest part was that bottom cap screw, and getting the bushings in place. Mine was only used 18 months.
