My recent mods (#10 plate and 4k GSK) have me in the market for a new clutch. My questions are: Which clutch? How much HP/TQ am I making so I can get the right one? I don't tow much and don't plan on any truck pulls and I want to have good driveability. A local shop has quoted me a decent price on a Luk Pro Gold installed. How difficult is the install? I am pretty mechanical and have a shop and tools is it something I can do myself. Just looking for any info on the whole process. Thanks in advance.

Where do you have the plate set at? If its in stock position, it should be somewhere around 330-350hp, and high 700 ftlbs. If its slid foward it will be higher.

The southbend Con o should hold a 10 plate no prob. However, it doesnt leave you much room to upgrade power if you decide to.

Id suggest a con OFE.

Replacing the clutch isnt bad at all. If you can turn wrenches, you should be able to do a clutch. Its not a quick job, but not bad.

I will second the con ofe. I last dynoed at 300/800. Since then I have done injectors, turbo and timing, and it is still holding great. South bend has a great reputation for customer service as well.
