I have the BAnks Stinger exhaust system on my early '91, and their intercooler - still all-stock turbo.
Is there any gain available from a different downpipe on a setup like mine? I'm not aware of any on the market, and when I asked Banks about it when I bought my system from them, they claimed no advantage would be gained over the stock one the truck came with?
It sure SEEMS that with all the effort made to reduce restrictions from the muffler on back, that SIMILAR attention to the downpipe would be worthwile as well - it LOOKS pretty restricted in several places...

Early '91 250, 727 AT, 307 rear... Banks Stinger exhaust, intercooler... US Gear OD... MORE than a match for every new PS Ford encountered so far...
