I'm putting in my full pillar gauge mount tomorrow. It's a dual gauge with tweeter from Genos. I didn't get the instructions with it to make it a replacement instead of a cover. Has anyone done this, or can you tell me how to do this? I think it must be pretty simple, but thought I'd ask, just in case. Thanks in advance.

I cut off the top clip a epoxied it to the new one. A little extra time but well worth the effort. I was only able to use one clip with the triple mount, so with a twin you may be able to use two or more clips. The one clip holds it in just fine, take time to duplicate the placement of the clip this way it will line up with the indentations in the headliner left for the OEM cover.

Other guys are screwing them into sheet metal or scabbing on a pc of mat'l (usually wood) to the pillar then screwing the cover to that.

That's a good idea. I saw the screw in Geno's picture, but I'd like a cleaner look. The reason I'm taking off the pillar add on mount. Thanks Jonny5.
