Replacement Plastic wire hose clamps

Hey all,



Got a question..... On my Pac-Brake (as well as many other hoses), I have these black plastic hose clamps used. They seem to be crimped onto the hose. I removed them once, but Broke a few in the process. Any hints on how to disconnect these little buggers? They are strong as anything & are probably the new wave of connectors, soooo I figure there's an easy way I can't see.

I'm not sure if they are supposed to be re-useable. I've had some luck just by sliding the 2 halves apart sideways, so your not fighting with the teeth. Not sure if that is the RIGHT way or not, but I'm sure someone will chime in if there is an easier way

Would the vacuum clamps be found in the carded help section at action auto , main auto , pep buys ?
