DC seems to be having a problem at their bumper plating shop.
After an old chebby decided to re-arrange my back bumper the body shop ordered a new one from DC and installed it.
When I went to collect my truck I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the left edge of the brand-spanking-new-from-DC bumper had what looked to be a scrape about 3" high by 1" wide.
I called it to the attention of the shop manager who verified that it was a bad plating job and assured me that they'd be ordering a replacement immediately.
According to him, when it came in it had the same kind of problem and was, itself, rejected and yet another ordered.
He further stated that DC claimed to be unaware of any prior complaints. (They're hearing about this one!)
My point: If you find yourself having to replace any of the chromework, check it very carefully.
