I'm looking to build a bad a-- rear bumper. My uncle is a dairy farmer and always had some tuff pipe bumpers on his old pickups. Maybe ya'll have some good pics or ideas. Did a search mainly front bumper posts, unc lives too far away. Hopefully something not too complicated as i am not much of a fabricator, but hopefully I can find some help. Might even buy one if not too much$$$

Years ago I had a single large diameter pipe rear bumper that was also an air tank. Came in handy a couple times, wasn't worth a hoot other than that though, never did have hitch capability etc.

I have a drawtight type hitch underthere so towing won't be a problem. Mainly I won't something I can latch onto anywhere without worries and good protection around the farm and town. My stocker looks terrible and is weak. I think I am going to leave this truck a little rough around the edges hopefully I can come up with a bumper as tuff as these old dodges look

Check out my readers rigs, "crossover steering" album. I took some rectangular tube, and some flat plate and made the bumper on the back of my 75. I put a reciever hitch in it. I've yanked on and been yanked on by everything and it held just fine. First night it was on, we tested it both ways. Pulled my buddy's chevy out of a muddy ditch(took 4-5 hard yanks, and then when he came out, I lifted and he didn't. He slammed in to the back of my new bumper with no problems.

I can click some pics of the bumper on my 90 also. Its not finished yet.
