Where can I find a good replacement tailgate? Not a taiwanese or an overpriced one from the dealer. And other than a junkyard.

I guess a good OEM place.

An ad in the wanted section of the tdr classifieds will probably net some results. There are quite a few folks who have removed their stock gates and replaced them with 5th wheel and mesh gates and have them just lieing around. A complete gate for a 3500 is $1200 from the dealer and it isn't even painted
