Replacement tint on top of windshield?

My 03 came with A/C but no tint bar on the top of the windsheild and the visors design is not the best - many gaps that don't cover the sun when driving. Does anyone make a tint bar kit that has a factory looking fade to it or do I need to go to a tint shop?

For less than 20 dollars you could put a strip across the top. They call it a brow at the tint shops. I have mine done that way!

Most states, no. Just don't tint too dark and the popo will leave you alone.

Yes, it is legal as long as you don't go below the A/S Line. It can be painted black above that line.

What's the A/S line?

I've had mine tinted with 95% limo tint down to the rear view mirror mount since I don't remember when. It might have been my first mod. I have a strip of the same tint on the top 6" of my driver's window too. Best mini-mod I've ever done. It's a little tricky backing up with the window down a little due to the difference, but it's soooooo worth it. That one's easy to hide. I make sure I roll the window down long before anybody can see it... even in the dead of winter.

It is on the windshield. It has printed on it, "A/S". In texas you can have lettering on the windshield, paint, or otherwise, have it blocked. Anything, tint, or otherwise, is illegal below that line. But that never stopped me I have tint on my durango about 3" below my mirror mount, and on my Dad's '05 I had it about 12" down from the top of the windshield (on the sides), or about 2" down from the mirror mount.
