What is the OEM part number for that and do you know if they're still availible. I have kinda been under the impression that they werent availible any longer. Any info you have is appreciated.

Thanks

Craig

Craig,

What they did was use my VIN# to get the right color. My dash is the mist gray. The part# 5GK45RC8AC. They had it in 2 days. Hope this helps.

First, it is a lot easier to respond if you fill in your signature with year of truck and associated info (4 X 4, etc).

In the older trucks, like mine, the dash cover is still available thru Dodge but they only come in gray. I had to prep and paint mine which added another $30 or so to the cost. Here is a good thread about replacement

I'm sure it would be easier with the windshield wasn't there. I wouldn't even consider doing that. I wish I would have taken more pictures. I took the one piece of duct work with the 4 vents out and attached it to the dash before installing it. There was a screw on each side of the vents. I did a lot of looking through the windshield to see where all the screws went. The only thing I can think of to make the job easier would be to remove the seats to allow the dash to be moved further back in the cab.

Hmm...

Hey Jeff...

You got a little bored at home I am guessing which caused all this work?

Why didn't you drop a note I could have gotten a warm inside shop to do that work in and helped you get it finished... ..... Andy

Hey Andy,

Yea I was a little bored. Working outside in the sunlight worked out great. It wasn't bad out. Thanks for the offer of help. Happy New Year.
