Replacing Exterior Gelcoted Panel

Has anyone replaced one of the exterior panels and bought one from a source other than an RV dealer? First source I went to (Dealer parts dept in Akron OH) wanted $400 for a 4x8 panel. Gotta be a less expensive route!



Have got some water damage and to repair it correctly will have to buy a panel, or completely remove the inner glued plywood from the panel and glue a new sheet to the backside of it and put it back on - Sound like anything anyone has done, or have any suggestions about doing?

I'm in Spokane WA and we have a plant here that makes those panels up to 11 ft x 53 ft for the sides of trailers. . the gel coat is fused to the plywood and we've used their scraps for all kinds of projects...

We purchased a 24" x 12 ft panel for a sign and it was under a $100. 00

I'm traveling now and won't be back in the office for another 10 days... . otherwise I'd provide you with their name and number, I know they are part of a larger company...

I'd go find a trailer repair company that repairs over the road trailers and ask them... I also know that the material comes in different thicknesses. .
