Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) replacing fan bearing

Can someone give me the skinny on replacing the bearing in the fan support? Mine has given up the ghost after 259K. The dealer has the whole assembly ($$$) or just the bearing ($$). It's not obvious how to get it off, and my O-fficial Chrysler shop manual is strangely silent on the topic.

..... and that's on my '94, not my '04. Haven't spent THAT much time in the "new one" yet.
