I had replaced the front disc pads on my wife's 94 a year ago and I just did it again, one pad had worn out. But that's another problem. I did the replacement like I did it a year ago, compressed the calipers, put in the new pad and every thing was fine. This time after the pad change the brake pedal would slowly go to the floor, so I replaced the master cylinder. No change, still had mushy brakes. I did notice a lot of sediment on the bottom of the reservoir after the MC change. Then I did a search on ABS problems and find that pushing the old fluid back up to the reservoir can cause a problem with the ABS. Right now the truck has been down for 2 weeks and I can't find the problem, anyone have a clue as to what to do next.

$435 later,

The dealer bled the brakes again, but ended up replaceing the RWAL valve. (PN R2007312). I strongly suggest that anyone replaceing front brake pads that has the RWAL valve located up front like the 94's open the bleeder valves when compressing the calipers to prevent back flow from damageing the system. And the $435 was with a rebmanufactured part.
