On a couple of other 2nd gen's I owned I put the 2" spacers in to level the truck. At 200k miles my front springs are getting weak and I'm thinking of going with the Kore HP leveling kit.

I know with the spacers it moved the front wheels back about 1" to 2". Will the same thing happen when you raise the front end with springs? I would think so.

Isn't there a way to adjust that so the wheel is centered in the wheelwell?

Thanks

I have the Skyjacker D25 coils in mine and yes it does move the front axle back some. After a year of my 315's hitting the left front inner fenderwell I got tired of it and went to a custom set of control arms made by a shop out in Ohio which were 1/2" longer than stock and it recentered the front axle. No more problems with full turns and tires hitting and the Ballistic Joints he used really freed up the front suspension and allowed the truck to drive nice again... ... ... Andy

No... . not enough. Only way to successfully fix and to give you piece-of-mind is to purchase new, longer control arms. I believe when I added the KORE HP springs, the top bars were nearly identical in length but the bottoms were 5/8" longer. You will be satisfied after that... . have it lined-up afterwards and consider the job done!!Very pleased with my HP kit... . rides alot better now!!
