2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Replacing heater core help

I am replacing my dash and wile i'am their i am replacing heater core ,so do i have to disconnect my ac system?

No. See Issue 59.

Issue 59 is the way to go. I did my heater core while replacing the dash too. I wish I had just gone ahead and removed the whole dash from the truck and done the swap in the floor- there were 2 screws I couldn't get back in. The dash top wasn't the only part of the dash assembly that was cracked and broken either.
