Replacing Injector Tips

Ok I bought some 75 horse tips from Ebay. Isben002 Stage 2 Injector nozzles "Edze Products". Do I have to replace the copper spacers when I replace the nozzles. They did not come with any. I have seen the post of sag2 , Just wandering. . Also how long does this process take>

Process shouldn't take too long, maybe 1. 5-2 hrs depending on how comfortable you are with it. As for the washers, yes they shoul be replaced. You can get by with not doing it, but they aren't that much money anyway. They are 1. 5 MM thick in case you get to the shop and need to know the thickness

If you dont damage them you can re-use them without issue.

It took me a lot longer than 1. 5-2 hours. The valve adjustment alone could take you an hour or more if it's your first time. I also replaced my washers

The washers are cheap enough to replace them. . 95 each from Cummins

It's cheap insurance to replace them. Kind of like the early 24 Valve trucks, we get folks all the time that don't want to replace the tubes with injector swaps/upgrades. Most of the time it's OK, but when it isn't it's a PITA to do everything twice!!

It took me about 6 hours... But well worth it. Real smooth idle and great throttle response. I want to thank everyone for their help. Going to do brakes this morning...

lmills is pretty good. Did not take him long to put my head studs in and he did a great and thorough job. A little different than injectors but he knows what going on under them hoods com'on
