Replacing lower center console lamps

2006 Big Horn Edition.....Noticed the light bulbs for the air/heat controls in the center of the console are partially out. I found a post somewhere on here that stated the replacements are a dealer item only....That is OK. I need some guidance as to how to get into that console to change them. I can't find any screws or fasteners to allow that small center dash piece to come out to replace the lamps. I called the dealer, and he said it was listed as only a 30 minute job by the tech manual, so, it must not be terribly difficult to change. Any of you fellow RAM owners tackled this before ?

My memory is fuzzy on those lamps too but if IIRC, the dealer doesn't list them but actually has them if you can find the P/N for him.

I stopped by my trusty Dodge dealer, and the service manager who I have known for a long time got one of his techs to show me how to get into where those miniature lamps are housed. It is a simple fix once you learn how to pull that entire center bezel loose and can lay it down to get to the little bulbs. The dealer has them......$3.20 each x 3 = $9.60.. Had it apart, bulbs changed, and back together in less than 10 minutes. Now, 4 of the 6 radio station buttons lamps are out..........sigh.......always something. Gotta figure out how to remove the radio/CD-Player.
