Curious about what happened to them. I like mine but have read a bunch of bad stuff on this site about them. They are the first set of aftermarket shocks I bought. Good luck.
I bought my Ranchos from Sam's Offroad in Tulsa, OK. I've never had a problem with them and never had to use the "lifetime" warranty. I had them on my second gen trucks and my present truck hauling heavy slide-in campers thousands of miles over the lower 48.
I use the adjustment feature and change the setting when the truck camper is loaded or when I'm driving the truck empty.

The valve that regulates the rebound malfunctioned and I would hear a clunk over bumps. I pulled the shocks off and extended them, then when compressing them, I would have about a 1/4" skip before the fluid would smooth the compression.
Could be because I set the front shock setting on 5 and left them there. Should have set them on 9 with all that weight up front.
Not sure that number 5 would kill it. That's exactly how I've got mine set and my neighbor down the street had it the same way on his duramax before it got totaled. Maybe further down the line mine will go for the same reason, but I certainly hope not. Sorry to hear about your troubles.
