I have found a pretty good deal on a close out 2002, but it has the trailer mirrors and not the power 6x9's, which my wife wants. Has anyone gone this way and put power mirrors in place of the tow mirrors? Was the wiring there or did you have to add it?

Thanks,

-Vic

I have had my door panes off, and it has some of the wiring already there for the power 6x9's. You'll have to put the switches in.

check the service manuel for complete wiring details

on the 01's there is also the power heat switch by the air con controls

The way I understand it, from the dealer FWIW, is that there are 2 differant wire harness's they can install, you may have the right one, or may not. Also, the heat switch is in the heat/cooling cluster, and you have to buy the whole cluster at a cost of $153+tax, or you can do what I did, and use a lighted rocker switch, and installed it in the door under the power mirror switch for a cost of $3.

Later, Rob
