Some Dumb questions on towing........

I have a '96 ext cab lwb 4x4, I am looking at replacing the factory shocks. We haul a 9. 5 ft fully s/c S&S camper also tow a 16'car hauler w/a CJ7 on it plus a large tool box on the trailer. I have installed air bags already which help greatly. Need some input on the best after market shocks, the truck is also my daily driver. Please advise. Thanks to all. Perry

Rancho 9000's... . and, you should've done this back in 1996! Stock sucks. You simply wont believe it's the same truck. Enjoy!

Rancho 9k's should have been installed before the truck ever left the dealers lot in 96

Adjustable for the load or lack of load.

I just replaced my rear shocks with kyb's and it is an incredable differance. I have a question;Do I remove the 3 bolt spring tower to remover the front schocks? or do I just remove the top bolt of the shock.

Rancho 9000's!!!!!

Yes you remove the three bolts on the tower and the top bolt to put the new shocks on the front, take the top nut off first.

I purchased mine from Aggressive Suspension in Fullerton, CA. (714) 870-9422 ask for Darren. I can't remember exactly what I paid but it was in the neighborhood of about $65-$70 each give or take. There are also quite a few internet vendors selling them pretty reasonable- do a search for them on this forum and yahoo, I seem to remember a recent discussion on where to get them.
