Hey Keeno.

Thanks for the kind word.

I check my email once a week and just saw a message about your reply.

Things are quite busy lately and I don't have the Internet time available I did a while back.

When someone has a question in this Forum the First Gen guys (and Gals) get right on it and it's covered so well that by the time I see it usually there is no reason to add anything else.

Hey get this: My blower motor failed to start once (probably a bad commutator) back in December 2000 but started to work fine the next day. I went to the dealer and the part was on backorder. I placed my order and and it had a promise date of 1-8-2001. That date came and went. Just this week, the blower really went bad. I called Dodge headquarters on Monday and they said it will be certainly in by 6-27-2001 and almost certainly this week. Well six months after I ordered it, and on the very day my blower just didn't work anymore, the new one came in!

Great story... . It looks like you're living right and the Cummins God's have smiled on you favorably!



I've had an APB put out on me once or twice and it always makes you feel good that folks that you've never actually met (in person) wonder how you're doing and what you're up to! We're all here because of these Old Rectangular trucks that we love so much and it fosters associations & friendships along the way. Good stuff, Indeed!



I've always enjoyed your input & the input of others who make this First Gen forum go round!



So where is rest of our missing First Gen Brothers?



Any one heard from: Mike Hurd? Stab? Has Power Wagon visited our forum? How about a few words of wisdom for Frank Simkowski (aka: Old School). Many of us are back in full force... . GeneH (fastest P/N guy E. of the Miss. ), Preleeguy, Paccool, Big Don, Bob B, Boatpuller, RDusch, Jsimpson, Bush Wakr, Shrimpy and many others that I can't recall this Monday AM.



We might need to call role soon.....

I try to "check in" to the forums on a daily basis to "eyeball" the posts. Looks like you folks are doin' allright, although I'll add my two cents when I can.

I just got back to the house from a "session" at the Point Judith lighthouse, KEENO. NICE swell and I'll go back out after some supper for somemore waves.

Now to keep this 1st Gen related... . (so I don't have to kick myself to another forum). . I met a fellow surfer from the Cape Cod MA. area who had a nice '92 all black Cummins/Dodge similar to my previous powerhouse. His was stock, and he hadn't heard about the TDR. 'Nuff said... we loaded our boards, and talked Cummins for awhile. I started up my '98, and after I pried him away from the exhaust outlet (he seemed to like the sound) I gave him the TDR website address and suggested he "get at it".
