I just changed from 3:54 gears to 4:10 about 250 rpm diff but now the power while towing seems to be lacking I pull various weights TT but does anyone know if the computer needs to be reprogramed for 4:10 gears

i didn't--and haven't had any problems--the one thing that I must do is check the speedo to see if it's close or not--I do know if you have 35" tire & the 3. 54 gears you'll be off by about 15mph when the speedo shows 60-65 you'll be going 75-80mph--chris

No speedo gear change is nessary because mine is picked up off the rear end with the same sensor for the antilock driven by the carrier the carrier will still turn the same speed no matter what gear is put in itonly tire size will effect this setup I belive 98-01 setups are like this but thespeedo is right on as was before

I have the 3. 54's and just went from 265's to 285's and while driving by a couple of those speed limit trailers, that show your actual speed by radar, it was dead on.
