We're getting ready to order some gauges for the '93. My son thinks he's going with black Autometer Z Series, EGT and boost on the A pillar.

Can you guys post some pictures of where you mounted your gauges? Thanks a lot.

Here is the A pillar. AutoMeter Sport Comp gages. Boost and pryo. Isspro tach beside them. I also have a steering column mount with a fuel pressure gage. The pic shows a tach but its a fuel pressure gagae now.

Here is my Install with ISSPRO EGT, Fuel Pressure and Boost.

I tried the A Pillar mount first, but it felt like it was too close and in my face. I like the dash pod. it is not too far away to read, but it is not obstructing at all either...

philip... i like the steering column mounted tach. for a second i thought your truck was idleing at 350rpms, then i saw the voltmeter was off and the truck wasnt on. i was about to be impressed. cause as i found out while fine tuning my idle after the 366 install, these motors dont like anything less than around 500rpms. at 400, they sound amazing though, like its got a cam, got a real nasty lope and bout dies unless you give it a little to keep it up. :D

Way too much work to be worthwhile, but cool when done. Notice the true location of the "Cummins Turbo Diesel" label from the message center.

I also replaced the 194 bulbs with red LED replacement bulbs and moved the "Diesel Fuel Only" applique to just above the fuel guage.

That's sweet. Very nice work!

So, let me get this straight: a steering column pod for a '94 will work on a steering column on a '93 as long as it has tilt? That's the way I'd like him to go, like I have in my truck. He likes the A pillar setup like I had in my old truck. I think they create too much of a blind spot, especially for a rookie driver.

Is there a DUAL guage pod for the steering column available for a first gen?

Also, does anyone have a picture of a dash pod on a first gen?

When I added the extra gauges on my 92 there were no "pods" available. The factory tach was moved to the center for better visibility.
