Sorry to be wearing out this thermostat thing,

I can't find or buy a 3954194 anywhere. I have a 3967195 which replaces the 3954194. It is a 180 degree also but looks nothing like what I took out originally. (stock-2001-190 degree)

I was hoping someone could post a good close up picture or pictures of an old or new 3954194 thermostat for me.

I am real curious what the infamous 3954194 looks like that everyone has been using.

The 3967195 I have looks like the 160 or 180 you bought at the auto parts store and put in your small block Chevy. A little cheap, very small opening, and no bypass block off plate for the hole in the head under the thermostat opening.

Thanks, Erik F.

Awesome, Oo. That looks nothing like what I got. Do you know where I can get one?

I've already tried Cummins, TST, and DC/Mopar and no luck!

I am starting to get desperate here... :(

I refuse to use the 3967195. I have one in the truck now and it is coming out asap. I ordered one from TST and it is the same as what I have now, I told them to just keep it. I 'll put my old stock 190 back in for now.

Explanation for my dislike of the 3967195 is above in the first post.....

I heard a stock replacement for a 99 truck might be what I am looking for to use in my 2001.

I bought the one I have from Cummins dealer in Boise, Id. I changed back to the 190 for the winter. Though it doesn't get cold here in Vegas, I make trips to Idaho snowmobling. Maybe I crazy but since I took it out it appears my MPG dropped about . 5.
