reservoir coolant

Hi everyone,inside and around my reservoir,just above the coolant line, I noticed a light tan colored ring.If feels like a waxy film,took it in and the service manager reported to Chrysler,for I was requesting a coolant cleaning and new freeze put in.They stated that it appears normal and since I am not having any cooling issues (the truck arounds around 199-224 degrees depending on OAT temp).They stated the engine coolant cleaning and new fluid is not required at this time.

The factory fill is good for 10 years,warranty will not pay for a coolant flush unless there is a problem.If it really bothers you remove the tank,clean it out and top off with fresh coolant

With 25K mine looks the same. It does make it hard to tell where the fluid level is!
