Nothing listed in owners manual, there is for oil change and that worked, but nothing
for the air filter (mine is clean)?

The owner’s manual states that the air filter should not exceed 30,000 miles of use. Having ran air filters to 30,000 or 32,000 miles, and based on what I’ve seen, it would take a verrrrrry dirty air filter to trip the service air filter message.

If I recall correctly, these air filters can hold about 19.2 ounces of crap. I would think if one was only remotely close on capacity, it might set a warning message.

Yes, but mine has been replaced before and now after the 60K service it is setting off the warning
but I did not find anything in the owners manual on how to shut off the message.

I am fairly certain the message isn’t resestable, since it’s based on intake restriction and not mileage.

Have you cleaned your sensors?

Hey Phil,

Copied a relevant post from that other thread:

I was getting a single ding sound w/a message "service air filter soon" or thereabouts. This after changing to the filter. Followed the mentioned video & there it was....almost completely collapsed cheap cardboard hose. Pretty much cut like MCM did. No more probs.

This could be it.

Let us know. Ron
