After repainting my 95 and during reassembly, I realized I lost 3 of the 6 retaining nuts for my trucks grille (grille to hood leading edge). Anybody know the number for the nuts? They are a small nut with a built in floating washer. I could make something work but after spending as much time on this thing for a total repaint, I'd rather put factory back on. Thanks

Really??? That's nice...SMH..

Using my limited skills, a '97 VIN and Repairlink I come up with an M5 X 0.80 Nut and Washer.

Part Number is 6102101AA. They probably have them right there as they are used in a gazillion other applications on the truck...

See if Item # 4 is what you need..

Thats what I needed. They didn't have them in stock either.......they don't believe in having parts on the shelf here in Alaska for some odd reason! I also had them order a window seal for my truck and they acted like a 1995 was beyond ancient.

When I painted mine and purchased a new “aftermarket” grill (courtesy of LMC Truck) they also sold the grill fastener kit complete with all the nuts, bolts and etc to re-attach the grill to the mounting bracket. BTW I also purchased a new mounting bracket and bolt kit for it. Mine (mounting bracket) was rusted thru in several areas... I took the new one and utilizing Eastwood internal chassis coating (black) along with the nifty hose & nozzle and coated the inside of the new bracket. Should last for “forever”???

My faith in humanity is diminishing like a deflating balloon. If Alaska Industrial Hardware on Airport Road in Fairbanks does not have the 5mm by 0.80 screws, I would be shocked. Shocked, I tell you. They have everything else. But seriously, if you can't find them locally, I'll get `em here at Mark's-Nutz-N-Boltz for you and send them in a padded envelope.
