Retrax pro tonneau install

Got a retrax pro tonneau cover, quality excellent, but on my 8ft bed the supplied clamps are an inch shy on throat size at front of bed. Got longer bolts and went ahead with install. Seems a little janky like if you bump them hard they could twist off. Middle clamps were only a quarter inch shy so those were easy with slightly longer bolts. Clamps near tailgate were fine. Real Truck sent me another set of clamps, different design, might be OK but bolts still short. If anything comes loose I will change them. Couldn't find anything online about bolt design for RAM trucks. Anyone have any experience with these? I mean it works fine but just concerned about clamps coming loose. I torqued to their specs too.

My wife has retrax pro on her F150, all the mounting hardware fits good on it no problems
