Rhode Island Gas Guzzlers?

Stock market....

Got the truck, got the winch, got the tow hooks, got the tow strap, got the tow chain, getting the amber strobes, planning on the plow and the snow---well I'll keep waiting for that... ...

Now, does anyone happen to have a . txt or . doc of a sample "I'm not responsible for damages to your vehicle during the normal course of retrieval" kinda waiver's????

I'm hoping that I can put some in the glove box and if/when I see some poor shmo off the road in a ditch, I can help them. Just have them 'sign on the line' and I can pull them out without today's fear of the 'sue happy' people/ins co's/etc. kinda thing would be perfect.

Thanks in advance! Now if we could just manage to get some snow! (sorry, I'm a winter kinda guy) :D

Even a fax/email/copy would work..... Any lawyers/towing people out there???

I would suggest quicken-legal or what ever they call there laywer program. I have a buddy that usese it for his car lot business and it works good. Writes up bills of sale, insurance waviers etc.

What I have always done is let them hook the chain up to their vehicle, watch close and observe their ancor point to make sure its not hooked to the tie rod or a radiator hose or something stupid :-laf :-laf :-laf and then tug em out, that way if anything ever did happen like the time the chain broke and took the guys grill out:eek: yes it can happen and it does. but the guy said he took the chain from me on his own free will. I was fortunate that day. also one to watch for is a rock or two flying out from under your tire, they can break winshields:{ . thats how I have always done it. ... ... ... . my $. 02... ... ... ... ... ..... I do the same as Whitmore, I let them hook it up to their vehicle. If it's obvious it's going to cause damage where they hook up I warn them about the likelyhood of damage.
