Anyone have a used one that they are getting rid of?

I've got the runnels front and back, very well made bumpers, very heavy, front with the winch is over 400lbs, the bumper is strong enough to jack up the entire front of the truck with a high lift, i would recomend them.

I had a local company add leafs to the front and rear and install larger shocks so the truck looks and rides OK now. Even then I have less than an inch of front spring travel before encountering the rubber limits. Bumper looks great from the front. Looks kinda big from the side.

1990(140,000 miles), 3. 54 gears, W250 5spd(replaced on guarantee), new head gasket at 98,000 miles, Reunel winch bumper, extra front and rear leaves, K&M air filter, Stanadyne fuel filter and Performance Formula Fuel Conditioner, Borgeson steering assembly and modified steering box to stiffen the steering, balanced drive shafts fore and aft, passenger-side rubber mat loose to mop up the water that leaks into the cab, CB and 2 meters(KB7VEJ), above the cab aluminum canopy with kayak/canoe rack. It’s a keeper.

Those reunel bumpers are bulletproof. I ended up fabricating a similar one myself and having it powdercoated. I stopped by the shop in Yuba City, California and checked them out and spoke with the owner about 4 years ago. Those bumpers are really well made. The fronts tend to stick out quite a bit. The rear bumpers don't reallyb have a great attatchment place for a camper hold down, though. These bumpers are built really well. Granite Construction on the west coast uses them exclusively (rear)on their work trucks. They are pricey, thats why I don't have one! If you have the $ I think they are well worth it.

Thanks for your input, Its always nice to get some one elses view point, I will be looking for some "old" bumpers first, as there must be somebody out there that is going to upgrade to a new truck, and may want to part with their "old" Reunel bumpers. I have my
91. 5 W350 with factory bumpers that I can trade as well as some cash???
I also would like to put them on my D250's,
but as usual money is tight.
Thanks

Hey, just a thought-there's a company in Sonora?, California that makes a bumper called Pro-Zap. I had one on my last truck-it looks alot like the reunel, but is not nearly as beefy. It was made mostly of1/8" plate, except for the brackets. It was plenty substantial for winching applications, though. It might be worth the call to check them out if you are low on $- I know they are far less expensive than the reunell.
