Reverse light feed

I'm installing back up lights on my 06 ram.

Does anyone know where i can tap in for the reverse light feed up front and not have to go to the tail lights?

Do you have a trailer wireing connector? Maybe you could tap in there somehow. Just a thought.

If you have a seven pin trailer connector, use the middle pin. There's plenty of power there to run a couple of 55W lamps without using a relay and I believe it's fused seperately.

I didn't want to tap in back there b/c i need to put it on a switch as well as turn on everytime it goes into Reverse. anyone where i can find it the cab or engine compartment?

White/ light green inside engine compartment on passenger side plug by PCM.

i will be using a relay i just want that wire to triger it.

also is this wire anywhere on the inside of the cab?

How about using the backup lamp switch? The wire could run into the cab via the shifter hole. Or do you have an automatic?
